National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel

450 Mulberry St, Memphis, Tennessee
On the evening of April 4, 1968, Martin Luther King Jr. was fatally shot while standing on his balcony at the Lorraine Motel. The hotel has been converted into a museum chronicling the Civil Rights Movement.
