Color Me Not a Republican
If Republicans need any evidence that their party is sorely lacking diversity, they need look no further than a Gallup poll published Feb. 8. It found that the GOP's membership is 89 percent white, 2 percent Black, 6 percent Hispanic and 1 percent Asian. Democrats are 60 percent white; 22 percent Black; 13 percent Hispanic and 2 percent Asian.
