Stretching Their Dollars
As lawmakers work to balance the nation's budget, many Americans are working just as hard to ensure they have enough money to sustain their lifestyle. In an Allstate Financial "Life Tracks" poll released Feb. 12, 50 percent claimed to have enough left over after expenses, 41 percent said they were living paycheck-to-paycheck and 8 percent reported they didn't have enough to make ends meet.
