Kimani Gray Is Approached by Two Officers

A series of protests have erupted in the East Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn since Monday night, following the killing of 16-year-old Kimani Gray Saturday night. Protesters have clashed with NYPD in the area resulting in dozens of arrests and violence. — Natelege Whaley

On Saturday night (March 9), Kimani Gray was standing outside of a friend’s house with a group after a Sweet 16 party in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Two plain-clothes police officers patrolling the area got out of their unmarked car and approached the group.
