The Kings

The three surviving children of revered civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. have been involved in a flurry of disputes involving the estates of their parents. In 2008, Dexter King, CEO of King Inc. and chairman of the King Center, sued sister Bernice, the administrator of her mother's estate, to gain control over personal papers, including love letters between Coretta Scott King and Martin Luther King Jr. Bernice and Martin Luther King III sued Dexter, accusing him of wrongfully taking money from their parents' estates.
