Gun Violence in Decline

The issue of how to decrease gun violence in American keeps evolving, with lawmakers no closer to solidifying a comprehensive plan. While gun-related crimes continue to make headlines in recent months, a new report from the U.S. Justice Department finds that gun-related homicides has decreased by 39 percent and nonfatal firearms crimes have declined by 69 percent between 1993 and 2011.
