NCAA Antitrust Trial Set for June 9 - In an antitrust lawsuit against the NCAA, former UCLA star Ed O’Bannon and other players are fighting for Division I players’ rights to band together and sell their services in the open market. "If this is a business — which they admit it is — it's got to run as a business in all aspects," Michael Hausfeld, lead attorney for the plaintiffs, told ESPN.
