A letter sent from a Howard University board of trustee member is raising concerns that budget issues could make the Washington, D.C.-based HBCU the latest to close its doors for good. In a letter recently leaked online, Renee Higginbotham-Brooks, vice chair of Howard's governing board, wrote in April that Howard "was in genuine trouble" and "will not be here in three years" if immediate action isn't taken.
