Physician Assistant Speaks on Zimmerman's Injuries
The third week of the trial concluded with a key state witness testifying in court Friday. Physician assistant Lindzee Folgate examined and treated Zimmerman the day after the shooting. She said that in his earlier visits with her he had begun to "exercise intensely with mixed martial arts." When asked by defense attorney Mark O'Mara if all of Zimmerman's head injuries were a result of being hit on concrete, she responded, "It could be consistent. Yes."
