Florida A&M University's Marching Band Suspension Is Lifted

Florida A&M University’s band is back. The band has been suspended since the November 2011 hazing death of drum major Robert Champion. FAMU’s new director of Marching and Pep Bands, Dr. Sylvester Young, still has yet to determine when the band will be ready for its first public performance since the suspension.  (Photo: AP Photo/The Atlanta Journal & Constitution, Jason Getz, File)
