Norfolk State Lacks Adequate Staffing

Norfolk State University fired President Tony Atwater last month for allegedly failing to provide proper audits. Now, the Virginia Auditor of Public Accounts released its results from the 2011 NSU audits, revealing that while the university has improved since its last corrective review, the division of finance and management is understaffed and lacks defined rules for internal control processes.
