Blacks watch 37 percent more television than any other racial group, spending seven hours and 17 minutes per day viewing TV. Some top preferred networks include BET, TV One, VH1 and Centric. During the awards show season, the 2013 BET Awards delivered a Black audience 74% higher than the Grammy Awards and nearly three times greater than the Oscars.
