Arrest Made In Hampton Homecoming After-Party Shooting

A Hampton University homecoming after-party at the Magnuson Hotel turned violent on Saturday, resulting in the shooting death of a 23-year-old Hampton man. According to police, gunshots were heard at 2 a.m. Matthew O’Neil Allen, 24, was arrested later that morning and charged with second-degree murder.
