Suspect in Death of Howard Student Has Been Arrested

Howard students had a sense of relief on Tuesday after police arrested Rasdavid Lagarde on first-degree felony murder charges for the July 4 robbery and shooting death of Omar Sykes, 22, a former junior marketing student at HU. Sykes was walking home with a friend when two men tried to rob them; Lagarde allegedly shot and killed Sykes.
