Tuskegee University President Resigns

Dr. Gilbert L. Rochon is the latest president to resign from his post at an HBCU. Rochon recently announced his retirement effective immediately at a Tuskegee University Board of Trustees' fall meeting. Dr. Matthew Jenkins was appointed in the role of acting president. The reasons behind Rochon’s retirement have not been revealed.
