Virginia Governor Seeks Norfolk State Board Resignations

Following the firing of President Tony Atwater, questionable audits and rumors of board member misconduct, Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell is seeking resignations from board members of Norfolk State University. “The governor thinks it’s the right thing for the university,” said Chris Jones, a Republican lawmaker, “This is about the university moving forward.”  The governor has yet to further comment.
