How Are Blacks Faring in High School?

The African-American high school dropout rate is higher than the national dropout rate, at 9.6 and 8.1 percent, respectively. In 2010, the Black high school graduation rate was 63.6 percent compared to the U.S. graduation rate of 80.6 percent.
