Grambling Faces Financial Punishment for Forfeit

Although Grambling State is already in a financial bind, the university will face a fine for forfeiting its road game against Jackson State on Oct. 19, the Southwestern Athletic Conference announced on Nov. 13. While the exact amount has not been announced, previous fine fees were $20,000.  In addition to the fine, Grambling must also play road games at Jackson State the next three seasons.
