Tuskegee Alumni Donate More Than $400K

Homecoming weekend was prosperous for Tuskegee University. As many HBCUs are plagued by economic hardship, alumni of the university donated $461,007.24 to Tuskegee University President Dr. Matthew Jenkins. The presentation was made during the Homecoming/Charter Day Convocation on Tuesday, in which actor Bill Cosby, the guest speaker, was awarded the Booker T. Washington Legacy award.
