Deceased Hampton Alumna Leaves $1 Million for Nursing School

Hampton alumna Dr. Lois Price Spratlen, from the class of 1954, passed away in March, but she left $1 million to the Hampton University College of Nursing. The funds will go to establish the Lois Price Spratlen Endowed Chair (LPSEC). LPSEC will help to ensure the future of the mental and community health research focus at HU.
