First HBCU Student to Receive Irish Research Scholarship

North Carolina A&T State University senior Destenie Nock made history, becoming the first HBCU student to win the George J. Mitchell Scholarship. The Irish scholarship for postgraduate study in Ireland seeks to establish a partnership between emerging young leaders in the U.S. and institutions in Ireland. Nock will leave for Ireland in 2015.
