Black Colleges Struggle With Tight Budgets

Students and alumni aren’t keeping their hopes high for the future of HBCUs. Many HBCUs are suffering from financial crisis, including Dillard University, which has outdated resources and is in dire need of Hurricane Katrina repairs, Norfolk State and Alabama State, who were recently accused of financial fraud, and Grambling State, whose athletic department has seen a major decline in recent years.
