Malcolm X

It’s been more than 20 years since the release of Spike Lee’s biopic film Malcolm X, starring Denzel Washington.  The movie highlights the life of Malcolm Little as he transitions into Malcolm X. While most Black history curriculum’s focus on Martin Luther King Jr., this film will introduce students to another pioneer in the civil rights movement.
