Jackson State University is moving forward with its plan to build a new 628-bed housing complex, a 650-seat dining hall and a conference center. The university intends to hire Hollis+Miller Architects of Overland Park, Kansas, to design the $47.3 million complex, which is slated to be finished by January 2016.
