South Carolina State Asks Lawmakers for $14 Million

South Carolina State University President Thomas Elzey asked the budget control board on Wednesday for $14 million to pay the university’s current and outstanding bills through June. Elzey said if they are given the funds SCSU will be caught up with their debt by 2015.
