Kaiser Permanente

Health care giant Kaiser Permanente has also had its fair share of racial discrimination lawsuits. One Fijian-Indian and 12 African-American former custodians of the company in Sacramento filed a suit in 2006, claiming they were terminated based on their race. In 2000, the parent company, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan Inc., settled another racial discrimination suit in Cleveland for $235,000.
