2015: 'I Have No More Campaigns to Run' - Last year President Obama showed us his boss moves, as he proclaimed the following: "I have no more campaigns to run... I know because I won both of them." During his speech he spoke about his economics plan for the middle class, new rules for paid leave and free tuition for community college. He also acknowledged protests against police violence in Ferguson and New York City where demonstrators marched for Michael Brown and Eric Garner. (Photo: Mandel Ngan-Pool/Getty Images)

2014: "America Does not Stand Still... and Neither Will I." - In 2014, Obama discussed the rebounding housing market and the ability to cut deficits by more than half. He pressed on raising the minimum wage, but came down on Congress for partisanship that caused a government shut down in 2013. "America does not stand still — and neither will I," he said. "So wherever and whenever I can take steps without legislation to expand opportunity for more American families, that's what I'm going to do." (Photo: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)

2013: Fighting for the Middle Class - Obama focused on saving the middle class in his 2013 address. He spoke on bettering opportunities for them to prosper in jobs, education, health care and housing. "It is our unfinished task to restore the basic bargain that built this country — the idea that if you work hard and meet your responsibilities, you can get ahead, no matter where you come from, what you look like, or who you love." POTUS also called for tax reform that would bring down the deficit, decrease deductions for the wealthy and cut tax rates for businesses in order to encourage job growth at home and not abroad.  (Photo: Ron Sachs-Pool/Getty Images)

2012: No Settling - This State of the Union address would be an important one as he sought re-election in 2012. Obama's focus once again was on restoring an economy that was still bouncing back post-recession. "We can either settle for a country where a shrinking number of people do really well, while a growing number of Americans barely get by,” he said. “Or we can restore an economy where everyone gets a fair shot, everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays by the same set of rules."(Photo: Pete Souza/The White House via Getty Images)

2011: Bring Our Troops Home - Obama gained major applause when he stated that it was time to finish bringing our "troops out of Iraq" and to prevent the Taliban from planning extremist attacks. He also spoke on affordable health care, investing in clean energy and proposed that by 2035, 80 percent of America's electricity would be coming from clean energy sources. He replaced Bush's No Child Left Behind education policy with Race to the Top. It proposed a "more flexible" law that would work best for our children.(Photo: Davis Turner/Getty Images)

2010: The Beginning  - During his first State of the Union, a more brown-haired, rested-looking Obama was adamant about giving the people what they wanted: jobs. The recession had led to high unemployment rates and an urgent call to repair what was broken to prevent a Great Depression. He also introduced his quest to give Americans better access to health insurance and his hopes that homeowners could obtain better mortgage rates.  (Photo: Brendan Hoffman/Getty Images)
