Black Unemployment Rises Slightly in November

The U.S. Department of Labor reported on Nov. 2 that national unemployment fell to 8.6 percent, the lowest level in more than two years. However, unfortunately, the outlook for African-Americans has gotten worse: the rate of Black unemployment increased to 15.5 percent, up from 15.1 percent in October.
