American Seniors Losing Homes at Alarming Rates

According to a new AARP report, nearly 1.5 million seniors have lost their homes in the foreclosure crisis and over the past five years the number of loans held by older Americans that are seriously delinquent increased by more than 450 percent. Since 2007, there have been 6.6 million foreclosure filings in the United States, with a disproportionate amount coming from Blacks and Latinos. (Photo: Justin Sullivan/Getty Images)
