African-Americans Gather at National Zoo for Easter Monday
While the White House held the more exclusive Easter Egg Roll on Monday, there was another celebration rolling on across town. African-American families gathered at the National Zoo for Easter Monday festivities, a tradition for the Black community in D.C. since 1891.
