First African-American Receives Boys Scouts’ Highest Rank

Darien Jones has made history as the first African-American Boy Scout to receive the Eagle Scout rank in the organization’s 83-year history. The high school senior of Millsboro, Delaware, plans to attend Morehouse College in the fall.
