Brooklyn Girl Saves 3-Year-Old Brother From Fire

An 11-year-old girl from Brooklyn, Janixia Soto, is being called a hero after she tossed her 3-year-old brother into the arms of neighbors from a fire escape. On their way out, a ladder on their fire escape had become stuck, so she threw her brother to safety so he wouldn’t be harmed by the fire.
