Controversial Cartoon Depicts Al Sharpton as Lynching Tree

On Saturday, a cartoon published in the National Review, a conservative publication, portrays Rev. Al Sharpton as a lynching tree. On a branch hangs four bodies with the words “TRUTH” on their backs. They named the bodies, “Tawana Brawley Hoax,” “Crown Heights,” “Freddie’s Fashion Mart” and “Zimmerman Trial.”
