NYC Mayor Says Police Stop Minorities “Too Little”

Mayor Michael Bloomberg spoke out in defense of the NYPD’s controversial stop-and-frisk tactics after the city council approved the creation of an independent watchdog over the NYPD. He says police stop minorities “too little” and that stop demographics should be compared to suspect descriptions, not the population as a whole.
