Alexander McQueen Store Clerk Is Accused of Racism

Othman Ibela, 22, an African security guard at the Alexander McQueen store in New York filed racial complaints against the store’s clerk, Kimberly Mahnke. Mahnke’s continued verbal attacks caused Ibela to seek hospitalization for anxiety attacks and depression, according to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filing. Ibela plans to pursue a lawsuit in Manhattan’s federal court.  (Photo: Michael N. Todaro/FilmMagic)
