Ralph Ellison’s Novel “‘Invinsible Man”’ Banned From N.C. Schools

The Randolph County, N.C., school board banned Ralph Ellison's novel Invisible Man after a parent found the book’s content to be inappropriate for her 11th grader as summer reading material. “I didn’t find any literary value,” said school board member Gary Mason.
