Harry Belafonte Suing MLK Jr. Estate

Harry Belafonte has sued Martin Luther King Jr.’s estate Tuesday over three documents, including speech notes and a letter written by the late civil rights leader. Belafonte wants a court declaration that he is the rightful owner of the documents he attempted to auction in 2008. He was blocked from auctioning the items by the estate. (Photo: Matthew Eisman/Getty Images for Seedlings Foundation for Yale Center for Dyslexia and Creativity)
