New Efforts to Name Harlem Street After James Baldwin

Trevor Baldwin, the nephew of the late author James Baldwin, is leading an effort to have a street in Harlem named after his uncle.“There is no landmark marking his legacy,” Baldwin told the Daily News. “There’s nothing more fitting than a street renaming.” Baldwin was born and raised in Harlem and the neighborhood was the subject in several of his published works.
