Marissa Alexander Released From Jail for Thanksgiving

Marissa Alexander was grateful to be released from jail on bond Wednesday night, in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. In 2012, she was sentenced to 20 years in prison for firing warning shots at her husband during a domestic dispute. She will be home with her family as she awaits a new trial in the “Stand Your Ground” case.  (Photo: Courtesy of Florida State Attorney's Office)
