Air Force Mom Surprises Son at Basketball Game

Derrick Jerkins, 13, of Texas, got the biggest surprise of his young life when his mother, Lt. Col. Cotina Jenkins-Sellers, who was deployed in Kuwait for eight months, showed up at his basketball game this past week. As the teen shot free throws, his mother snuck up behind him. “Mom, I missed you!” he yelled.
