Baltimore's First African-American Police Commissioner Dead

Bishop L. Robinson died at the age of 86 on Jan. 6. Robinson joined the Baltimore police department in 1952 and rose through the ranks. He broke racial barriers, becoming the first Black police commissioner of the city from 1984 to 1987.
