Twitter, Internet More Popular for Blacks

Young, college-educated and higher-income African-Americans tweet a lot, according to a report by the Pew Research Center. More than 70 percent of Blacks have access to broadband Internet at home or through a smart phone or both. Also, 40 percent of young Blacks use Twitter compared to 28 percent of whites.
