Student Denied Graduation Stage Because of Disability

Tariq Bashir, who worked four years to get his associate's degree due to his health problems, was disappointed to find he would not be able to go across the stage because of his disability. Bashir was told by his school that the stage was not safe for those in wheelchairs. He was instead told he would have to come near the front of the stage to accept his diploma.
