Record-Breaking Rain Floods Detroit Metro

The city of Detroit saw its second wettest day in history Monday, shutting down the freeway system and roads, which remain empty as of Tuesday morning, the Washington Post reports. An unofficial rainfall total of 4.57 inches was recorded at the Detroit Metro Airport, according to ClickOnDetroit.
