Man Freed After Nearly 30 Years in Prison - David McCallum, one of two men who were wrongly convicted for the murder and kidnapping of Nathan Blenner in New York City nearly 30 years ago, is finally free. Willie Stuckey, who was serving for the same crime, died in prison in 2001. The judge threw out the convictions and an emotional McCallum sobbed as he heard the news, CBS News reports. ‘Moral Monday’ Takes Over Ferguson - A total of 50 people were arrested, including Cornel West, during the last four days of rallies and protests in St. Louis, the Associated Press reports. Hundreds gathered at the Ferguson police headquarters and sat in for four hours on Monday (Oct. 13). There was also a rally at the St. Louis City Hall. High School Student Died in Sleep - The family and friends of Trey Taulton of Texas are mourning the death of the 18-year-old, who died Sunday in his sleep. The wide receiver of the John Horn High School football team showed no signs of health problems the night before. He reportedly died of natural causes.
