Posted April 7, 2006 – Rush Limbaugh, the radio czar of racial insult, is at it again.
This time he’s taking aim at the woman who said she was raped by three members of the Duke University's lacrosse team.
During an on-air discussion on Limbaugh's national syndicated radio program last month, he referred to the alleged rape of the Black exotic dancer a “ho.”
“Running on fumes,” Limbaugh said his comments were a “terrible slip of the tongue,” adding there were “inconsistencies” in the case and apologized, telling a caller, “I regret that you heard me say it.”

But this is not the first time Black folks have gotten a whiff of Limbaugh's racial sensibility.
Ten years after becoming nationally syndicated, he asked his listeners, "Have you ever notice how all composite pictures of wanted criminals resemble Jesse Jackson?"
During the time that he had his own TV show, he told his audience that "The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies."
When he mentioned Carol Mosley-Braun, the first Black woman ever elected to Senate, he would play the theme song from the "Jeffersons."
Limbaugh even sometimes still uses mock dialect -- substituting "ax" for "ask"-- when discussing black leaders.
In response to a caller arguing that Black people need to be heard, Limbaugh responded: "They are 12 percent of the population. Who the hell cares?"
