Actress and comedian Mo' Nique waged a campaign to improve the image of women with VH1's "Charm School" and to help counter the Black reality TV image.

The 39-year-old Baltimore native said she participated in the show to help the women gain some self-respect, and to teach them a little bit about manners and poise.
