Another Big-Name Preacher Complies With Investigation | News | BET.com
Posted Feb. 28, 2008 – Rev. Creflo Dollar and Bishop Eddie Long might be ignoring a Senate investigation into the financial dealings of big-time TV preachers, but another mega-minister has decided to go along with inquiry.

The Rev. Benny Hinn, of World Healing Center Church, is latest of six televangelists with huge congregations to submit documents regarding the collection and spending of church money.
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) says he was prompted to look into the financial dealings of the big six – Dollar; Long; and Hinn; plus Without Walls International Church and Paula White Ministries; Joyce Meyer of Joyce Meyer Ministries; and Kenneth Copeland of Kenneth Copeland Ministries – following complaints that the wealthy, pastors were spending tax-exempt funds for such luxuries as Roll-Royces, private jets and plush cribs.
Grassley issued a statement on Monday saying that Hinn's representatives provided a "significant amount of written material," and that the senator is "encouraged by the demonstration of cooperation.
In addition to Hinn, Meyer has submitted the requested documents – and so has Copeland, although, Grassley says, Copeland’s records appear incomplete.
Dollar, who notes that his money was earned from legit business dealings that have nothing to do with church revenues, said he recently sold his Rolls, which was purchased for him by parishioners.
