Seems like everybody’s getting a reality show these days.

In the latest reality-show update, America will get an up-close, personal look at the life and times of rapper MC Hammer, who will be heading to the A&E network in the near future. So, what will the show be called? “Hammertime,” of course. And the half-hour, 11 episode program will feature his wife and five children. It is scheduled to premiere some time this year.

Hammer is as well know for smash hits like “You Can’t Touch This” as he is for his meteoric crash from opulent wealth to bankruptcy. He now lives in Oakland, Calif.
