Blame it on a Black man: It's one of the oldest, most racist games in the history of America's legal system. But one White woman who played the game is in jail after she was found frolicking in Disney World, having claimed that she was kidnapped.
Bonnie Sweeten made multiple 911 calls this week saying two Black men carjacked her near Philadelphia and put her in the trunk of a Cadillac.
But she and her 9-year-old daughter were taken into custody at a hotel near Florida's world-famous amusement park on Wednesday night.
Sweeten reportedly used a colleague's ID to buy a plane ticket to Orlando and withdrew $12,000 from several bank accounts in recent days.
Authorities investigating whether the money was stolen followed the trail that revealed Sweeten and her child to be perfectly safe, enjoying a vacation.
She's expected to face charges including filing false reports, identity theft and possibly more.
Sweeten 's arrest is the latest in a resurgence of high-profile, race-baiting crimes. During last year's presidential campaign, a college student who backed Sen. John McCain was arrested after falsely claiming she was attacked by a Barack Obama supporter.
